Inspired by the rise of new consumer power, Qiang Hu's design for the Jiupai Huafu sales office aims to optimize each consumer touchpoint, delivering brand ideas in a way that resonates with the modern lifestyle. The design draws on local cultural elements such as nine schools, government courtyards, landscapes, pine and cypress, poetry, and tea, reimagining them in a contemporary context.
The unique properties of this design lie in its harmonious fusion of traditional and modern elements. The sense of order and symmetry inherent in traditional buildings is applied to a modern, minimalist space, creating an immersive, interactive consumer experience. The sales office is divided into various areas, including a landscape exhibition area, negotiation area, tea tasting area, children's entertainment area, VIP room, and model room, each with its unique characteristics.
The project, covering an area of 650 square meters, was realized using a variety of materials including emulsion paint, stone, metal, PMMA, and lacquer painting. It was initiated in May 2022 in Jiujiang and completed in July 2022. The location, by the side of Bali Lake, offers excellent transportation conditions and environmental resources, making it a high-potential area for regional development.
The design process involved extensive research, with the aim of creating a sales space where culture and connotation permeate each other, promoting dialogue and connection among cities, buildings, spaces, landscapes, and arts. The main challenge was integrating classical culture and contemporary life aesthetics in a city with a rich history like Jiangxi.
The Jiupai Huafu project has been recognized for its innovative approach to design, winning the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2023. This prestigious award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation. Qiang Hu's design, admired for its strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, indeed introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
